Someone on Flickr recently went through my older Autumn images and liked some from 2008 at Silver Falls State Park near Silverton, Oregon. These images I had forgotten about were taken soon after I got my first DSLR. This caused me to look for those original files and rework them with some of my better processing skills and program. Sadly I only shot those images in jpeg format rather than raw images as I now use, so the processing is more limited, however I still liked the results!
My mother taught me to love the world around me… and if I can help others to see with new eyes by showing that beauty through photography. I have accomplished my hearts goal . Husum, WA is my childhood home and I consider home to be anywhere from Mount Adams to the Columbia River. I give thanks to my parents for their love for Nature and God. Oh my goodness….50 years ago, this was my parent’s most favorite place to take us camping. I spent many teen years fly fishing and hiking the fall’s trails before all the ‘improvements’ Wonderful images and memories too.
