And a Moon Halo rainbow for good measure! This first shot was from early in February, and I hear they were seen not only here in White Salmon, WA but also in Alaska and Canada and who knows where else?
This next series is all from February 7, 2015, on a run away drive about I took to clear my head of computers and processing. It was a lovely day, and included some sweet visiting time with friends. I also got some sample GLASS PRINTS today, one portrait and one waterfall… they are very lovely! This is something new to add to my print styles. After all that, I headed East from Bingen chasing the light, my favorite style, no plans, just go. In spite of my thoughts of driving up county into the hills, I only made it to Major Creek and then Balfour Park where i took a nice walk. No eagles there at that time, but I did see some at the Creek, along with the rainbow. Unfortunately, my time got cut short by a call from my Sis who I take care of, and she really needed some help, so that became the priority of the later afternoon and evening.
SO, here are a few more photos, I hope you are all having a good weekend, and find things around you to be grateful for!
After the rainbow faded, the gorge was looking pretty stormy as I headed home.
