Icy Catherine Creek

Today I’ve been sorting through old photos in my hard drives, and came across this series that I took in January 2011. I had so much fun wandering around in the icy conditions with my friends. I thought I would share the ones I got processed :-). I thought they were pretty cool, pun intended. This is in southern Washington.

Catherine Creek Falls has such a great flow in the winter. Notice the ice on the cliffs 🙂

Soon after sunrise at Catherine Creek. On this image I actually used filter on my lens that belonged to a friend. Now I can’t even recall exactly what it was called but it sure made things look pretty 🙂

If you look in the menu on my blog post, you can click on the photo galleries link to go to my SmugMug photo gallery.

Enjoy!

My mother taught me to love the world around me… and if I can help others to see with new eyes by showing that beauty through photography. I have accomplished my hearts goal . Husum, WA is my childhood home and I consider home to be anywhere from Mount Adams to the Columbia River. I give thanks to my parents for their love for Nature and God.
