Recently I was sitting out at the lake and listening but not taking too many pictures. It seemed as though any sunset was going to fizzle, when suddenly all the color came back!
I feel so blessed to be living where I do now, in Trout Lake. Tonight I heard the Elk bugling out beyond the lake, and the creek behind the house is sooo peaceful.
On my way back from the woods Wednesday evening, i witnessed this wonderful sunset over Mount Adams, from Glenwood, WA.
After spending some lovely time trying and failing to catch some lightning in Southern Washington Cascades May 6, i finally gave up on that and just enjoyed where I was standing. Hope you enjoy it with me!

I’m sure you figured out by now that I’m fascinated by clouds, and how they change so quickly sometimes. These clouds in Glenwood yesterday had their own unique metamorphosis during the evening hours. I will be posting another series as well in a separate post.
