These images are taken about 30-35 miles apart, first one from a few miles away in Trout Lake, Washington, and the other from Hood River, Oregon. Perspective…. it appears more pointy from a greater distance!

Many times in life I have stood and watched as the sunset faded and twilight blue hour came on. And several of those times I have watched as cloud spun like whirling dervishes in the fading blue light as the stars began to peek out one by one.
I was thrilled on the 22nd to get my early Christmas present! You know me and my Lenticular clouds. I was pretty excited to find these in Trout Lake for sunset.
