There will continue to be changes being made occasionally as I tune up these websites and try to have easy transitions between the two.  I would love any feedback about how it is working!

I also created a static front page for this website also, so if you come to the home page, check out the menu in the sidebar.  Home goes to the static page with a slideshow.  Blog comes here, and Galleries goes to the galleries on smugmug.

I do have a gallery show in Hood River currently at Boda’s Kitchen on Oak Street next to the frame store.  Also, many of my images are now on permanent display at North Shore Clinic in White Salmon.

I have been adding and reorganizing my main photo gallery on SmugMug.  What do you think, does it flow well?  If you click on the photo above it will take you to a corresponding page in the Best Prints: Inspiring Light Gallery.  From there you can explore many more pages!  Many of these images are full of memories for me, driving somewhere at midnight to catch the Aurora, visiting friends, being late for work because of a rainbow… you get the idea.  I pour my heart and soul into my photography, and hope that the joy and awe present in that moment comes through in the image I create.

Prints can be purchased via the link above (the photo), but I also can create Metal Prints, Canvas Prints, Thin Wraps and Standouts.  I currently will be showing a 24×50″ triple panel image at local events.  For any of these, contact me directly at starlisa.black@gmail.com, via the links under each image, or via the contact form below to ask about printing any of the images on any of these mediums.

In the previous post you will see information about a local community Business Fair in White Salmon, WA.  This next photo will take you to that post.

This Triptych is being printed on Metal, and each panel is 16x24" in size, giving a combined wall size of 50x24". You can read more about the event this will be displayed at locally by clicking on this image.

I am still not happy with their pricing system, so I am going to set up a discount code to use on the Thin Wraps, Canvas Wraps, and Metal Prints. Meanwhile you can still go directly through me on those items via email at starlisa.black@gmail.com The discount code will be about 35% off the listed prices.

Feel free to give me suggestions or feedback if you see something not working well, or you can help me make it better.

I also still have books and calendars, you can find information in the sidebar menu under Calendars and Books..

February Fire and New Photo Sites

I have been working hard on creating a SmugMug site.  At this point i have not paid to upgrade to Pro, and so I do not have a store enabled, but when I am ready to make that change it should be easy. At that point I will tie my website and SmugMug site together better, but meanwhile here is a PREVIEW OF MY SMUGMUG GALLERIES if you would like to come poke around.  It is still under construction, and feedback on design and ease of use is VERY WELCOME!

Meanwhile I have happy news, my Artist Reception at the White Salmon Library was an amazing success thanks to my many friends and family and a few random passersby.  There were 60-70 in attendance, and several people made print orders.  The show is still hanging until the last Saturday of March, and if you contact me I can try to meet you there!

Thanks everyone!
