I wanted to share a few pictures with you from the month of February 2019, in Trout Lake, Washington. We had one of those heavy snowfalls that came fast and furious, Beautiful and dangerous.
Shining bright with winter snow at the higher elevations. Mount Adams is the second tallest peak in Washington State, and yet had been the lesser visited mountain. We locals like it that way.. no roads open year around to treeline.
On a freezing cold and brilliantly blue morning in Trout Lake, Washington. I sure seem to be thinking about snow and cold a lot this week 🙂 while all around me it’s hot and dry and there are fires. Too many fires.
Early Dawn on March 3, 2018, I was up early (for a change! ) and got to see the full moon setting right in the V of Trout Lake Creek at one of my favorite photo taking spots. Fingers ached with deep nearly frostbite pain, but my heart was a singing strong!
