Magazine Ad

I have been learning some things about graphics design, in the process of creating an ad for myself in the Columbia Gorge Magazine.  What a grand learning curve it has been, with the help of a couple friends giving me tips.  I think this is the final result… although the print version will actually beContinue reading “Magazine Ad”

Rainbow City

Saturday I saw a bit of a rainbow as I drove through Hood River.  Driving down to the waterfront I got there just as it blew up into a full rainbow, with a double for awhile as well!  These are taken from the waterfront in Hood River, Oregon, looking north into and over White Salmon,Continue reading “Rainbow City”

New Cup Ideas, feedback anyone?

I am debating about getting a handful of these cups while they are on sale.  Question is, would anyone actually pay $25 for a ceramic mug like this?  Seems too much to me, honestly, but I might order a few to find out. I would love feedback on this.

On occasion several huge Great Horned owls would land in the trees, hooting back and forth at each other in the dark of night. I would stand out in the middle of the clump of trees andContinue reading “Great Horned Owl and Barred Owl”

Another Fire Sky Sunset in the Gorge!

I had a stupendous evening up on this hill in Washington not far from White Salmon, watching the sky flare up then fade back down.  Color lasted for over an hour in the clouds as though a magic wand had waved over them so they could hold the color. A bit later, looking SouthContinue reading “Another Fire Sky Sunset in the Gorge!”
