Thank you all for your continued encouragement and support!
My Mother and Father taught me to love the world around me… and if I can help others to see with new eyes and find joy by showing that beauty through photography. I have accomplished my hearts goal. Husum, WA is my childhood home and I consider home to be anywhere from Mount Adams to the Columbia River. I give thanks to my parents for their love for Nature and God, and for the years we spent immersed in nature as i grew up in this paradise.

I am not currently actively doing business however I still occasionally sell a print or two special order. In the past I made calendars, books, notecards and magnets but I do not currently carry any of these on a regular basis.
Below are Bits of history from when I was an active business person

There have been shows at Grounds Espresso and North Shore Cafe, and The Inn of the White Salmon, and North Shore Clinic in White Salmon, Washington; Three of the 40 finalist images were mine in the Chasing the Light Show in the Columbia Art Gallery in Hood River, Oregon in August 2012.

Published Works:
Several of my images have now been published in books, magazines and calendars . Here are a few examples:
2018. Darryl Lloyd of Hood River, Oregon published his Mount Adams book, “Ever Wild”.
Included near the back cover is a two page spread of One of my photos of the Aurora over Mount Adams.

Ongoing 2015-2019 many of my images have been used at our local Mount Adams Chamber Visitor Center in White Salmon, Washington. They can often be found in magazines about The Gorge and Washington.
One image is in a coffee book titled “Wings Over Washington”. Others were used by Portland Spirit Sternwheeler in their advertising.

May 2013 “Portland Monthly Magazine” ran a full page with this image

Smith-Westen will be using two of my images of Mount Adams in their 2015 Washington Mountains Calendar!
“Weather Guide Calendar” by Accord Publishing has featured some of my rainbows and lenticular Clouds for 5 years running (2011, 2012 both have full page month images and 2013 had a small Lenticular image. 2014 has a full size Lightning photo). The 2015 calendar will have the Cascade Creek Fire image.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~“Weather of the Pacific Northwest” by Cliff Mass, atmospheric scientist at University of Washington, is an excellent weather book for the Northwest, and includes a lenticular image over Mount Adams.
On his weather blog, Cliff posted about my work, calling me a “SKY POET”. I liked that! I am particularly fond of Lenticular clouds and have a large collection of images featuring these unusual formations, and am known on Flickr as the Queen of Lenticulars! That bit makes me chuckle… as I know I am no queen! But I thank my Flickr and Facebook friends for the encouragement.

Scott Sistek (Meteorologist) has lately blogged my photos of a Thunderstorm on both KATU and KOMO Tv
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Cross Country Magazine has printed two of my Lenticular images in an article on Mountain Wave Clouds
The Stranger Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and others have published images of mine, and many have been shown on news stations such as KOIN 6 and KPTV 12 over the last three years.

“The Infinity Loop”, a travel guide published by Clackamus County had a Gorge and Mount Hood image on the cover in 2011

I wish I could learn how to take such beautiful photos. Do you ever do workshops? – Terry

Terry I have considered doing that… I did do a little job shadowing with a teenager for a school class which was fun, and some tutoring in Lightroom. I feel so inadequate to teach, as I still feel there is so much I don’t know, but then again I guess there is probably more that I do know than I realize.

I just found your site today and was so appreciative of your work of our beautiful area that we live in. I grew up in The Dalles and lived in Hood River for many years too. I love the gorge and your photography is stunning and has captured the beauty that I hold dearly in my mind and heart. I would love to see your displays when I get home from Arizona soon. Judy
